巴底买所指教的 《马可福音》里出现讨饭的瞎子巴底买，他听见耶稣路过就大声地呼喊耶稣。因为眼睛看不见心里充满怨恨，所以只要能蒙上耶稣的恩典，人们的责备与喝斥也根本不成问题。他与在环境面前随遇而安的一般人不同，心里恳切地想睁开眼睛。 人们即使没有信心，温饱也不成问题，所以不想恳切地学习信心。我们依靠居住在我们里面耶稣的能力可以做一切事情，但撒但让我们沉睡。“我得救后去教会就可以了。”带着这样安逸的想法沉溺在世上。连小小的负担也不喜欢，爱面子，忙于自己愿意做的事情，把信仰抛在脑后，与耶稣毫无相关地生活。即使周围的人、亲爱的家人没有得救走向灭亡，也照样过得很好、很快乐，看着这样的人，我心急如焚。 得救后，得到永远生命的我们该做的事情太多。没有福音而痛苦的人不知有多少？到非洲一看，想给他们做的事情实在太多，想给他们传更多的话语，想给他们盖礼拜堂，也想给他们买车…… 只以吃好住好为满足，这不是基督徒。应该从耶稣那里得到比这更大的喜乐。如今神为了使我们灵魂的眼睛更加明亮，告诉我们巴底买是如何睁开了眼睛。希望从属世的睡梦中醒过来，向着神属灵的世界睁开眼睛。
